My parents were married 61 years!

Eudora, thank you for asking a upbeat question, even though you are getting some information about couples that are breaking afters of being married for long periods of time. That's sad.
My wedding was in February 0f 1980. So, that's been a little over 27 years now. My parents are having their 52nd this year. My daughter will celebrate her 1st this summer.
Congratulations to your parents. It so nice to hear that you have great role models! Hoping to have as many years as your parents and mine!

I've only been married for 9 months! This time...time before was 4 years. My parents made it to 51 years, before my dad passed away. Congrats to your parents! 61 years is a long time. :) Some of us will never see that.

I'm not married right now. My parents were married for 52 years until my dad died about a year ago.

Almost 18 years. My parents were married 42 years before my dad died. Grandparents were married over 50.
