if you get that message you're probably running to may things in the back ground but you can fix it easily enough
open the control panel and click on the system icon when the box appears click the advanced tab you'll see three buttons the top one under performance click settings when the new box appears click the advanced tab towards the bottom you'll see virtual memory click change put a spot in custom size then in the two boxes put a number that is twice the ram you have so if you have 512meg ram type 1024 in both boxes click set then ok and apply if necessary then reboot for the changes to take effect now you won't have that annoying message

You have limited RAM and your virtual memory is too low. Buy more RAM or increase your virtual memory. Right click My computer, Properties, Advanced, Performance Options, Virtual memory. Good rule of thumb is 1.5 to 2.0 x RAM. Good luck

you need to get more ram and possibly another hardrive.

the reason it is giving you this message is that you have maxed out you ram and the CPU is usuing you hardrive from the extra memory that is required to keep the program running. But it sound like your hardrive is so full it can't even do that.

If you added you ram and hardrive sizes we could give you a better answer.

Virtual memory is disk space.... you either don't have enough free disk space or you have limited its use. If the latter, you need to modify your settings to let Windows control virtual memory space.
