there are no cons that i know of...except that you might get addicted and empty out yoru bank account. ebay is a great way to make extra money on the side by selling things you don't want anymore. you can also get great deals on merchandise. Be careful though of buying from people with little or no feedback...and if you want to buy something designer, be careful of knock-offs. overall though it can be a very good thing!

I'm selling regularly on eBay now and I don't seen many cons. The one con I've experienced was that I've had a couple of problems with Paypal. However, I worked it all out and now I can buy or sell without trouble.
The only other con I can think of is if you are a compulsive shopper....in that case, it might be better to wait!

the pros are that you can buy and sell just about anything under the sun. If you are just looking to buy, you'll need an account, and also to sell. But craigslist is free to sell on if you just have 1 item that you want to sell. ebay you get hits on your item from all over the world. Pro my thinking

Pros,
I've made a ton of money selling on ebay.
Most buyers are great to deal with.
Feedback keeps you honest.
Cons, there is that occasional person who you just want to slap.

No cons, all pros. Just remember to always buy from someone with high feedback rating, and you should be all right.

Do a yahoo search for ebay sucks & look @ some of the 3,950,000 results. If you try selling on ebay, ebay will make money, if you are lucky, you will. I like to buy on ebay, but selling on there sucks.
