If you open more then one website at at time it will confuse your computer and cause it to freeze up so if your doing that then you might want to stop. Maybe your hard drive is over heating. Try going to a computer expert and asking them. Have you tried turning it off for awhile and turning it back on? Sometimes that helps.

That happened to me once. I think it might be virus, do you have norton antivirus because that doesn't cover for spyware and adware. If thats not the problem, it is probably because of a new internet you installed. Try installing Mozzila Foxfire, it is the best. From This site: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Another problem might be your internet connection.

Try getting Firefox, it is much more stable than Internet Explorer, so it shouldn't have problems.
>>Having too much stuff saved on your computer has nothing to do with it. The hard drive, which is where you save stuff, is completely seperate from the RAM and the CPU, which affects how the computer performs.

I assume that you mean your computer freezes and you have to reboot. If this is correct, it could be a video driver that's not up to date or corrupted. Make sure your version of Windows and IE are up to date and check for a more current version of your video driver.
Good Luck

Go to tools, options, and click remove all cookies.
Cookies are little pieces that are stored on your computer until you delete them, and can slow down your internet.
Deleting them will make things a bit faster, and won't freeze.
Good Luck.
