Within the past day, my computer has started typing on its own? It dont matter where, Outlook, AIM, Message Boards, etc. Just anywhere I have the cursor clicked, and where typing is allowed to happen.

The only thing I did was set up my outlook the other day, but thats all!

I have run virus and trojan checks, and they come back negative.

It types actual words and such, but they seem to form a sentence, though not a rational one, or a well educated one at that.

Last thing it typed was (minus the quotations):

"a a new a way to a man who have a way to the new a new man a a a man a a new"

I thought I was going crazy, but I saw another post where someone had the same problem, and it typed just as odd of a phrase.

Any ideas? Help or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance! :)

Can you borrow a keyboard from a friend and see if problem persists?

Have you got a microphone and voice recognition installed? If so, disconnect the microphone. If that cures the problem, turn off Speech Recognition: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=326526

Try running a full scan with an anti-spyware program such as AVG Anti-Spyware

1st: It is also possible that ur keyboard is messed up. Try a new keyboard first bcoz i had the same problem with my keyboard so u better try a new keyboard.

2nd: I was goin to say that run a Anti-Virus Software but as u said u already did it n it didn't help, so u better make a backup folder transfer all ur important files to it and then covert the folder into a zip file then upload it to a website or attach it and mail it to ur self then once ur backup folder is safe format the computer and install the windows again.

3rd: If u hav no idea abt what i just told u to do, then u better go to Geek Squad.

For sure it will help bcoz i had experienced it.

Well lets look at this logically.

The computer never showed this kind of behavior until after you adjusted something in Outlook express. In my mind this is problem is screaming TROJAN! Just because one program failed to find it does not mean it is not happening.

Take your system offline and disconnect from any networks. Does this stop the ghost writing?

Restore your computer to a time before you made your Outlook Express tweaks and see if the problem stops. IF it does upgrade your security software.

If this does not happen contact the Roman Catholic Church and about inquire into computer exorcism services.

Good luck.

1. You've got some sticking keys
2. Something is laying on your keyboard
3. Your computer is hung up for some reason.

Shut down your computer, check all the cables to make sure they are connected properly, check the keys on your keyboard to make sure they all function properly, then reboot.

Your computer could be remotely accessed. This is dangerous as the viewer gaining remote access could be 'reading' your passwords etc. Or try a new keyboard as the keyboard keys could be messed up. Or it could be ghosts - but I doubt that! LOL!

try shutting your computer down. If that doesn't work you can turn the power of the CPU off manually by holding down the power for 10 sec.

I had a similar problem. Try installing and running ad-aware se personal. http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5
This is a great free spyware detector.
