My boxwoods had buds and then the new leaves of the season appeared. We then had three nights of hard freeze and all new growth is white, yellow or dead. Is it better to remove those leaves which were apparently affected (all the new growth) or leave Mother Nature alone. Is there a chance of regrowth this season or will we simply have to wait until next year? The yews which survived the freeze do have new growth since the freeze.
