What are the requirements to trade from pokemon Sapphire to pokemon Emerald?

Let's see here. First of all - in the Diamond/Pearl game, you must beat the Elite 4 and get the National Dex.

In the Gameboy Advanced game, the only requirement is that you must have at least 7 Pokemon in your game.
