prime factor the 27 and 12

5sqrt( 3x3x3) + sqrt (2x2x3)

5*3sqrt(3) + 2sqrt(3)

15sqrt(3) + 2sqrt(3)

17sqrt(3)

5 sqrt of 27+sqrt of 12=

5(sqrt of 9 x sqrt of 3)+sqrt of 4 x sqrt of 3

15 sqrt of 3 +2 sqrt of 3=

17 sqrt of 3

Unless you are looking for the decimal form, that equation is already simplifed as much as possible.
