Hi, well, I am sure lots of people will have a problem with what I am going to tell you, but this is my opinion based on my experience and knowledge. You need to get them at a full salon not at one of those salons that do just nail's for very cheap. There are more chances of not those places not being sanitary and that can give you a good fungus or worse. You will pay a bit more at the better full salons, here in Denver a new set at a full salon is around $40-$45 and a rebase will be around $25-$30. This is $15-$20 more then the nail shops, but your nails will look better, look more realistic, and you can feel assured that it is safe and clean. I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go, I where them the same way I did when I went to the cheaper places but I never got compliments on them. Also, they NEVER break anymore either.

Go to a salon and get them done by a professional. I bought fake nails for about six years and I have pretty much destroyed my natural nails. I am going to a professional in about two weeks after my natural nails have rested...seriously, it is worth the money.

Doesn't matter; all fake nails will be hard on your real ones....and honestly, the ones you can buy in stores ALWAYS look cheap and are not the same quality as the ones you can get in salons. The cheapies in stores fall off REALLY easily.

you can find fake nails at cvs and walmart. I always get mine from walmart. Maybe u should try the ones that don't have marking on them and polish themm really badly. Then go to the nail salon and get airbrush or a design and they won't look cheap.

what makes fake nails look cheap is not aply them correctly, if i were you i would get the ones from the store that have the acrylic overlay and practice applying the overlay first the secret is all in the filing and application. good luck it tok me a few times of applying them before i got it down good.
