What kind of music do I like? People always ask me and just say all kinds, but some people just wont take that as an answer. Why do we have to listen to one type of music, why cant we like a little of everything?

AC/DC songs - Great classic heavy metal.
Bon Jovi -I've always considered them "bubblegum" heavy metal
Boston - I'm just familiar with "More Than A Feeling" Very good song
Bruce Springsteen - In my top five artists of the Late 70's and early 80's . I'll never stop getting goose bumps when I hear "Born To Run" "Glory Days" is one of the weaker songs from the "Born In The USA" album but still a decent track.
Guns "N Roses - My favorite by them is "Paradise City" but "Sweet Child O'Mine" is above average, also
Joan Jett - My favorite by her is "I Love Rock and Roll" I don't recall hearing "Bad Reputation"
Journey - Decent song but my favorite Journey song is "Open Eyes" Steve Perry had one of the best male voices in all of rock and roll.
I'm not familiar with the rest of the songs on your list,

Based on this list, why don't you simply tell people you listen to pop? Sure, there are people who think that pop is a label reserved for Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, but it really just means any popular music.
Since everything on your list is something that has been played on a popular radio or TV station, I think pop is an appropriate category for it.
Or, when you say you listen to a little of everything, just show them your iPod playlist, so they can see it for themselves that you have a wide range to your listening habits.

i would say almost top 40 type stuff. you listen to a lot of different generes of music which is really good. that way you dont get yelled at by your friends like i do. most of the songs you like have at one time been very popular. you should probably listen to Ellison www.ellisonsite.com and wayward www.myspace.com/waywardinlincoln i support these guys a lot.

all of those songs are so unbelievably mainstream its not even funny. however some are good songs.

but yeah i dont listen to much mainstream stuff.
only mainstreamish bands i listen to are

I love a lot of those songs, They're great! :) :) I'm pretty sure you like pop music a lot. I know, I like all kinds of music too. I guess some people don't like that as an answer because...well, I'm sorry, I don't know or get it either.

Hmmm, just sounds like your not a tottaly music jock, just someone who hears something they likes and gets it. Thats totally cool. I like a lot of genres but they all revolve around rock. I cant stand hip-hop, rap, country, or jazz or whatever. But that's totally cool, listen to what you want!!!! ROCK ON!
