Who knows..some people who try to lose weight eat like 3-6 times a day (mini meals) maybe Brad talked to his Producers and said hey i gotta eat because I wanna keep my hot body in tact so they just perhaps wrote it into the script.
He seems to eat alot during Oceans 11, 12 and so on.
He ate in Mr and Mrs Smith too (anyone remember the dinner scene where he thought Angelina might be out to get him)?

I've noticed this too. In Oceans 11 i got up to 14 times i saw him eating in the movie, then i lost count. He's a hungry guy!!!

Maybe he's trying to be like Burt Reynolds. He did that alot also. Maybe he's just nervous, because Angelina might be adopting yet ANOTHER child from a far away land.
