The plants will use the same nutrients in the water as the algae uses,so they rob the algae of nutrients,causing less algae to develop. However, having plants means leaving the light on more,and that could lead to algae blooms.It can be a vicious cycle.You have to control your nitrates,nitrites,ammonia levels.If you have enough plants to use the nutrients,and you don't overfeed,you should do OK. Beware of plant-eating fish!

no. Plants more or less reduce the amount ov algae in the tank, because the plants and the algae both use up the same nutrients.

Algae is cause by too much sunlight or artificial light. Concider moving your fishtank to a less sunny wall or area.

No if anything healthy plants reduce the amount of algae. They both compete for the same nutrients.That said consider:

1)Plants often bring guests including algae and snails.
2)Every you do to keep plants healthy also helps algae.

No, absolutely not. Plants will compete with algae for food and lower the amount of algae in a tank.

well Im not sure about that but I know that algae will settle and grow on the plants.
