Odds are good it's due to ammonia poisoning from the tank being new and not having any beneficial bacteria yet. That can take a few weeks to develop. It's quite possible that a 50% water change will help your fish significantly. Here's a link about cycling a new aquarium that can give you some info and help in dealing with it until the tank stabilizes.

Bala shark is a bala shark, now no longer a "silver shark", you would be waiting to correctly be be thinking of a silver-tipped shark, which isn't the same in any admire as a bala shark. All of those fish are in a 36 gallon with 2 bala sharks? That tank is a long far greater than crowded, that tank is considered over crowded in case you particularly had your bala sharks in there. they are very energetic swimmers and could there may well be a minimum of 30 gallons consistent with bala shark. Your sharks are maximum probably pissed off because of the reality they haven't any the placement to swim with all those fish in there. Your angel additionally will now no longer be satisfied indoors of right here couple of months and don't be taken aback if it does no longer stay that long being in an over crowded tank. Ghost knife fish are aggressive and get rather great (a minimum of one foot) and can be saved separate or with diverse ghost knifes.

You added fish way too fast! and balas get to 9 inches!

The tank doesn't have enough (good) bacteria in the water yet.

You could buying something called "cycle" it will help the good bacteria build up.
