I already have a decent base tan, I used acclerator, but what is bronzer and elxier, or is there a process to use the different lotions.

bronzers contain agents that give an immediate color to your skin...the accelerators & amplifiers intensify the uv rays to make u tan quicker...the tingle lotions contain ingredients that increase blood circulation to make u tan darker...i recommend going with a tingle lotion (if u can tolerate it, as it is not for sensitive skin), to push u over your tanning plateau...that`s what i`ve used exclusively for more than 5 years now...definitely, if u wanna get super dark, u should try them!!! swedish beauty, pro tan & fiesta sun make good ones..."hot tottie", by pro tan, is one i recommend...happy tanning!!!

The amount of time you stay at first will depend on your skin tone and the max. time the bed allows. If it is a 20min bed 5 mins would be good for a first time. (if you are super fair then only 3mins.). As far as lotions you want something that has a light bronzer. You don't want one with a dark bronzer at first or you will streak. I would not recommend using tingle until you have a base tan established.

I effin love the tingle lotions. I use Swedish Beauty's Pink Diamond ;)

bronzers can make u an oranger color try to stay away from them
