If you order online, is it delivery?

Carryout: You call and order something, then go and pick it up.
Delivery: You call and order something and they come to you.

carryout is when the customer has to pick up the the food after they order it. Delivery is when the restaurant brings it to you at home or wherever you are.

Carryout is when you go to the place and order, but then "carry it out" and eat it at home.
Delivery is when you call or order online, and the food is "delivered" or brought to your house without you having to go anywhere to get it.
Does that make sense?

Carryout you drive to the restaurant yourself to pick it up. Delivery they bring the food straight to your home.

Delivery is delivered where you want it. Carryout you have to carry yourself to where you want it. If you order something online,it's delivered.

the difference btwn them are
carryout - you have to go to the restraunt and pick it up
delivery - its is dropped off at your house
it really depends on if you want to go and pick it up or have it delivered to your house, so there is no really answer to the online thing!

Carry Out is as states... YOU CARRY the food OUT the door yourself.
Delivery you can have it Delivered to where you are, home, work, school etc...
I have seen websites where you can order your food and go there to eat it, I have seen it where you can order your food and go pick it up at the restaurant (and then carry it out) and I have seen websites you can Order the food and then have it Delivered to you! (yeah Delivery)...

simple one, carry out you have to go get it. delivery, they bring it to you. if u order online unless you wana go get it , they orer it for delivery
