Freezing to death is slow and kind of like getting a burn anyway... It is a slight bit more dignified than being burned alive. but still feels like getting a bad burn...
Burning to death is slow and hurts...and you usually die as a result of breathing in your own smoking flesh... Kind of like an intense freeze... Like being stuck to dry ice and having water poured all over you and taken by helicopter to Antarctica and left there as penguin food...
So I'm going to go with dying in my sleep. That way it doesn't matter if I am freezing or burning... I honestly think the only difference is that people who burn run around a little more before they pass out and die...

If these were the only options, I would prefer to freeze. As you get colder, your body feels less pain and goes numb, whereas if you are on fire, unless your lungs are immediately seared, you feel intense agony as long as you have nerve endings left to fire. Also, if frozen, there may be a chance that at some point in the future, you could be brought back to life (which is why some people have their bodies frozen at death in hopes of there being a future cure for whatever killed them in the present). A very interesting question.

I'd freeze to death. If you ask me, I'd be happier to freeze than be burned alive.

Why Philosopher in me has to deal with ways to die ?
What damn one gives once when you are finished . I would say on a rebound , whatever will be less painful to the survivors who would thank their stars that they did not meet my kind of death.
