It works, however, its not the best thing on the market. It is essentially a glorified registry cleaner. XP repair PRo is better. It also is considered the easiest and best. However you can use other manual techniques optimize your computer. But it can become a headache So, you on the right track with an optimizer

If you don't feel comfortable changing your registry yourself then I would go with a optimizer as well. I have used the product myself and found it to do a good job.

no, adaware, avg disclean and defrag will do the same thing. adaware and avg free are free from download.com and disclean and defrag are system tools on xp
