I just read an article that wi-fi networks are dangerous, just like cell phones (They cause cancer and stuff). Well, I have one wireless router and a Nintendo Wii. I use the wireless router only to connect the Wii to the internet. Is this less dangerous than a complete wireless network?

This is not less dangerous. I have never heard of getting cancer form a wireless router, but if it is true it would be the same as if you had a network. The router projects the wireless signal in every direction, even if tehre is no computer/game counsle to recieve it. I have been a ble to pick up wireless networks form up to a block away. If it cuases cancer no place is safe.

Generally the signals are supposed to be too weak to cause damage, you do not hold you router up to your ear. Most of this discussion is pure conjecture, we have been using cordless home phones on the same channels for years, there does not appear to be a problem with these (which you do hold to your ear). My first mobile was a talking cabin trunk, weighed about 5 pounds, had a liftable handset on the front and an antenna on the back. The information that came with it did not include warnings on incorrect lifting, but on keeping clear of the antenna when using it. The recommended distance was 2 metres, the handset cord was a coiled cable with the strength of a truck axle spring, and full stretched length of half a metre. I am still here. If you do not stick the antenna in your ears, eyes or other bits, don't panic about it. If anything is ever proved, they will soon scream about it.

Finally the exams, there hasn't been any evidence connecting WiFi with cancer or every other human sickness. It's like radio waves best at a better frequency. There is no radiation that could purpose any harm. The damage in WiFi is one of the vital matters humans say when communicating through the internet! I've visible some rude, crude and abusive solutions here to critical questions. Thank goodness that "cancer" is unfold by a very small percent of the posters.

While Wi-Fi networks and cell phones both give off electromagnetic radiation, the likelihood of getting cancer from either of these devices is extremely small. The energy output of these devices is not enough to liberate electrons and ionize particles in your body, therefore this type of radiation is fairly harmless.
