I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free, and I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me, and I'll gladly stand up next to you (my fellow Americans) and defend her still today, cuz there ain't no doubt, I love this land..................... God Bless The USA~

Yes I am very proud to be an American!
When I speak with people in other countries, they all say the same thing. Our freedom of speech is something that most countries will never truly know. In virtually every corner of this earth except the USA people fear their governments and are unable to speak up against their governments without fear of being jailed or killed.
I remember when my Scottish born Mom got her US citizenship when I was about 22 yrs old she had lived here for 25 years and it was as she so well put it "her Proudest day".

Yes.
We have more freedom than almost any other country. We have 50 great states, and each one is worth seeing for it's own individual specialty. We are a profitable country, and we help other countries less fortunate than us. We can say whatever we feel like saying without fear.
What a shame that so many countries swallow their medias' lies about us.....and that we swallow lies about other countries as well.
And for the person who mentioned the incidents last week--by which I assume he means the Virginia Tech shootings---let me remind him that the shooter was an IMMIGRANT.

Yes I am. The people who say they are not proud to be an American need to get deported to a 3rd world country, then see how much they liked America when they are fighting off the flies and famine.
