I am a conservative, and personally I wouldn't call the feeling "annoyance". You say that we are hopelessly outmatched in society and culture. Did you know that conservatives are the single largest ideological group in America at 40%? We make up a huge part of culture. Liberalism is tailored toward the majority, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's right. I realize that everyone has their own opinions of right, wrong, and socially acceptable. You have your ideas and I have mine. I just hope that one day more liberals will see reality and the way our society is falling to pieces.

There's a wide variety of political views in the goth scene, although I would probably say there are more liberals. Which would make sense, because as goths, we're kind of a "minority" and it seems liberal parties pull for outsiders more.

I am called a Goth all the time, just because I like The Cure, and have black hair! I am Republican, until I live no more, though! I see sense, that is why I am Republican, I don't think being a Goth makes any difference to what party one follows. Some people are either dumb, or misinformed. It really has to do with common sense. People, no matter what name they go by, Goth, or else, think individually, as they should.

I myself am a liberal. I would guess most are liberals but that's because they overlap with the hippie culture and don't tend to judge.

Well...they all dress the same, they're normally upper middle class kids who've never wanted for anything but think the world is completely against them. They huddle in little groups and only say things that they know everyone else with agree with. And if they're smart they grow out of it when they finish high school.

Sounds conservative to me.

fragmented children... rejecting society by creating a sub sect, An alternative to commercial alternativeisms... definitely radical. As always Liberal means nothing. They are all about change.

Being that they varie from the "precivied" norm and embrace a more artsy and fanciful lifestyle they would probably tend to be Liberal.

They'd probably be conservative just because they'd think liberals were way to radical and talkative.
