the answer is 782 units squared. i got that by separating the figure into 2 dimensional figures. i saw that there were 4, 15 by 11 rectangles and 2, 8 by 11 rectangles. i first just added all of those areas together. then i subtracted the area of the 3 by 3 squares 6 times. i did it 6 times because there are three on one side and 3 on the other side of a total of 6. if i didn't explain it well enough email me, kmtpa7@yahoo.com

I got 296cm².

First I got the surface area of the entire prism, ignoring the three squares. The area I got was 746cm². I then took the area of one the the three squares and got 150cm² and multiplied by 3 (three squares) and got 450cm². Then just subtract the area of the three squares from the area of the whole prism and you get 296cm².

I got 1023 sq/cm. the box whole would be 1320 and remove three 99 sq/cm for each missing block and you get 1023 sq/cm.
