Is it just me or do you think this is a form of cruelty to animals. Have you ever notice that most fish restraunts have fish tanks with live fish in them. Do you ever wonder if maybe fish can think and if so do they notice that the people in there are eating fish?? Hey Fred look at that table over there. There's Aunt Marge. Wonder what table Uncle Albert is at? Makes you think anyway or maybe its just me. lol

I dont think they comprehend that way but I still feel that it is cruel. Near our boat a sushi place has LARGE live fish crammed into tiny tanks(10 or more in a tank that might hold 1 or 2) they are suffocating and trying to escape. I hate looking at that...its like oh i want that spotted cow for my steak!!

Uh - it might just be you, I don't think fish's brains are evolved enough to notice they're disappearing one by one because they're being served up for dinner!

I don't like the keeping of live lobsters in restaurants though. I hear they don't actually feel it when they're chucked into boiling water or whatever, and that 'scream' is just air escaping from their shells - but who knows! I'm not a vegetarian myself though so I can't talk.
