I think the KClO3 decomposes into KCl and O2. So the balanced equation should be:

2 KClO3 --> 2 KCl + 3 O2.

So, to get 6 moles of O2, you need 4 moles of KClO3.

6 moles if i have my stoich right, it should be that every mole of KClO3 should decompose to a mole of O2 and a mole of KClO.
