Can we get over each others pasts?

T and I have been best friends since we were 18. Even though there was always an attraction, neither of us persued it since we were both a little, shall we just say, wild and carefree. Our mutal friends had often refered to us as "the King and Queen whores of babylon". There were numerous nights throughout our friendship when we would sit up nights discussing our latest "conquests". We both married and divorced other people and neither of us was faithful during our marriage. Then about a year ago we started dating and everything has been realy good, we never argue, hardly disagree and always communicate well. The problem is that I think we know each other too well. Sometimes i have a hard time trusting him and I worry that he's going to do the same thing to me that he did to his ex. And i know for a fact that he gets jealous of me with some of my male friends. I have been faithful since we got together, but I dont know about him. What should i do?

When two people have been so wild and promiscuous in the past, it's hard to be faithful and trustworthy. Knowing everything about each other can be both good and bad. Now that you two finally got it together, resolve to put everything about your past behind you, and work on having a good relationship built on love, trust, respect, etc. And if each of you are jealous about each other's friends, then they're a hindrance to your relationship, and they must go. You don't want anyone interfering in your relationship.

Well if both of you are committed to each other then don't worry. If you have changed your old ways and he has also what would be the problem? Sometimes we just have to trust the other until proven wrong. If we're always looking for something we will find it one way or other, so relax and enjoy life with him. Love is hard to come by. Stay true to each other and I wish you a long life together.
