hey there,

got to Modelsinc to find people there.

You can create a free portfolio there and meet people from around the world that are in the field.

The best advice I can give to you is get alot of exposure done. The more you show off your talents be it online or in staging... DO IT

Now go to that site and make friends there.. They just added a new forum and you can make a request there.. People will answer you.

Hope it works out for you,

Kind Regards

It really depends on what kind of actrss we're talking about here. You can do local theatre for no money at all. No pictures required and you would hand write your resume each time and it's totally aceptable and a good way to gain experience. If you're talking about commercials, tv, and film then go to the SAG website at sag.org and you'll get a free listing of reputable agents in your area. Most however will not take you without at least some experience, but it never hurts to ask. A portfolio is not necessary but a basic headshot and resume will be. I would also suggest looking into classes that include improv, scene study, audition prep (with honest but helpful criticism) and if possible on camera work where they give you a tape of yourself so you can see what you're doing. For someone your age it will also take a dedicated adult to take you where you need to go, so hopefully you have a LOT of support!

Just remember: you gotta start small and work your way up. start building a portfolio by auditiong and being in local plays. If there's a theater(not movie) near you, log onto their website and see what they are holding auditions for. Also, you could go out for your school plays. You can also look in the entertainment or arts section of your newspaper and see if any place is holding auditions. See if your school is involved in any kind of local student film festival type thing and see if you can audition for a movie role for that. Also, summer theater camps are great experiences, too! If you could get into a prestidious one, it would cost alot, but look awesome on a resume! Hope I helped and good luck!!! :)

I'll be blunt. You're no longer going to be a popular actress. The odds are extraordinarily stacked in opposition to you. Go get lunch in LA, and you're going to meet multiple actress/waitress who desires to be the following famous person. To be sincere, your odds are even worse. Now that Sandra Bullock is a celeb, she can also be choosy approximately what she does. An actor who has no longer made it massive takes any and each and every viable function, hoping to get spotted. If that implies making a song on a cat meals commericial, you do it. Only being in a single exhibit isn't a well begin. A few popular actors make massive cash, however the leisure are not able to even aid themselves with appearing. Are you going to be the only in 1 who hits it massive? Probably no longer. If you pass the clinical monitor, you'll make a well dwelling. Even in case you are not able to really make it into clinical college, you'll pass to PA college or NP college or get your MSN, and you're going to make a well dwelling.
