It's an HTML tag. You can find it in the "Tag Chooser" of Adobe Dreamwaver under the "HTML tags".

It's not an HTML tag at all.

It's an XML tag designed to configure Java Virtual Machines on the RESIN app server.

EDIT: Mahomed is PARTIALLY correct. the SERVER tag also allows you to add SERVER-SIDE JAVASCRIPT, which is only known to run on Netscape web servers.

http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6411-10/jsserv.htm

It is considered an application that runs on server side, so the server is sometimes called an application server. Caucho's Resin (my first answer) is also an application server.

However, it's still technically NOT an HTML tag. :) More of a special non-standard extension.

....

Those tags allow you to insert javascript code. You can either explicity write the code or use an include file script. More information can be found on:

http://www.acronet.net/tags/
Simply find the tags you want explanations on - and you will find it there.

Or else you can always use the latest html editors such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver to get more details in the help section.

Hope that answers your question
