Dear, 16 is a fresh age. How can you be happy?
As simple as:
DO SOMETHING YOU GET SATISFACTORY FROM.
Long term happiness : Balance The Life.
Short term happiness : Live consistently happily.
For your very moment now,
put your emotion away.
Think of your big goals,
Try do something that you are interested in and your parents would be very proud of.
Put every single negative thoughts away.
* You dont really have to know the way of stop crying. Some people dont even know how to cry over unfortunate things. Crying is fantastic way of releasing your emotion and there is no wrong crying.
** You said you want to be happy AGAIN. So, think of the moment you were happy and redo the things that made you happy.
Cheers

You took my option away:
God is the answer. Look you can't blame God for the way that people treat you. I used to always feel bad, i hated everyone and the world so much.... I even asked my parents if we could move and start over some where. i then rededicated my life to God.... I am now one of the happiest people that you'll ever meet. I'm 15. Instead of worrying about what people think, now what matters most is what God thinks... and when the world seems to cave in on me, i remember the sweet words of Romans 8:28, and that Jesus had a harder life than i do and He was happy... because He had something that the rest of the world doesn't God, and nw I have God and Jesus.... always remember no matter who seems to hate you
Jesus LOVES You

Think of things, remember things, concentrate on things, and feel, believe, and entertain yourself with things that bring you joy. Think of a wonderful day you have had, People that you love. Or a hobby that you love. Listen to music that uplifts you, or spend time with a loving pet that you love. There are many ways to choose to be happy, but there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. Inner happiness is the key to success. Newton has a law that states, an object in motion will stay in motion until acted upon by another force, and an object at rest will stay at rest in a like manner until acted upon by another force. If you're happy, you almost have no choice but to stay happy until inertia or karma kicks in, but if you maintain happiness, you're setting up momentum that will work in your favor. You've been sad for a while so it's natural that the process worked the other way in this case. Rich get richer, poor get poorer, it's the same idea here. Choose regularly to be happy and through memory, karma, and strong willed decision you will beat this negativity and your life will become magical since that is what you choose for yourself. It starts and ends with one solid decision.

Hun, at 16 life is hard. You are forced to decide what you want to do in life when you have only begun to live. At 16 I had a child and was forced, by parents I still haven't forgiven, to give her up for adoption. I'm 29 now and my husband and I discovered we can't have kids recently. It doesn't matter if your 16 or 60, life will always be hard. I can't tell you how to be happy. For that you have to clear your mind and look deep in your heart. You have to see who you are and figure out if you can be happy as that person. If not, then find what you don't like about yourself and change it Being popular won't matter later in life, so don't be so sad over it now. 10 years from now these people will just be bad memories to you.
Loosing a loved one is always hard. Your mom and dad are hurting, as are you. Sit down and talk to them, it will help you more than you know.
You don't have to find "God" to be a good person. God is what lost people turn to when they want answers. "He" was created as a means of comfort. If you can find comfort in it, then go ahead, but that must be up to you.

Forget about the world if you are short and they make fun of you just ignore them! They don't know a short person has the same heart same mind and infact even much more qualities then they have so keep your mind open and self confident.
about your family forget about how they call you stupid or wierd and don't care if they hate you just keep loving each person in a special way .lastly and for always and ever keep up one spirit " ALWAYS LOVE YOUR SELF" you were made specially and you will always have all those great qualities that you were born with.No body on earth can ever change that so love your self and live happily .My blessings are always with you.always a well wisher.

Sometimes in adolescence, depression occurs very frequently, so you don't need to worry, that happens to us all the time (I'm also a teenager)
About eerybody making fun of you: They are just a bunch of stupid people. You don't need to worry about what stupid people do. Just ignore them that's the best thing you can do and i promise they will stop.
Your sister's death: You know... Everybody lives and dies. It's like Paul McCartney's song "Live and Let Die". Death is a natural law. Everybody's going to die one day. You'll get over it one day. I know losing a loved one is tough but, you have to see that crying and feeling wrong about yourself is not going to revive your sister. Be brave :)
God: Well, I don't believe in God either so you don't need to worry about that.
All that is happening to you is normal. You'll soon be happy again. Don't worry.
If you still hae problems, e-mail me because I also had these kind of problems in my life.
I hope this helped

Work on or towards the types of things in life which make YOU happy! Its not your job or resposibility to make anyone else happy, and besides that, you're not capable of it anyway! Sometimes its very easy to start believing the negative things other people say, don't ! Just be who you are, be strong, believe in yourself and try to enjoy YOUR life the best you can. All the rest will work itself out in time. Best wishes!

At your age, I felt the same way. I too was short, everyone made fun of me, threw me in trash cans, my parents were gone all the time to dinner parties and I had no joy, no happiness, and no hope for the future... just pain.
On Thanksgiving day of 1970, that all changed in an instant. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. The only way I can explain what happened to me is detailed in my study at this link...
