I am planning on moving there, but i am a bit worried it will be hard to find a job there because i have a lot of tattoos and piercings.

piercings on your face - then forget about working in a nice bar or restaurant.
other than that - no problem !
Lots of pretty girls covered in ink are all over San Diego.
Beach areas are the most tolerant. As well as Downtown and Hillcrest.
As far as working in an office with tattoos, again - no problem as long as you can cover them for work.
But piercings on/in your face will hold you back.

I think your job choices are less anywhere in the world because of it, but San Diego probably has as much of that as anywhere. Just don't tattoo your face, front or sides of your neck or your hands, people hate that.
If you work in some places, like coffee shops or music stores, its kind of expected for women here to have a lot of body art.

Try living or/and looking for a job in Ocean Beach, tons of people with tatoos and piercings. Pacific Beach is also pretty tolerant and has tons of tatoo parlors. Hillcrest you'll probably get away with it too. But basically Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach is where you'll find the highest concentration of tatoo parlors and those types of people, Ocean Beach more so than PB.

Practically everyone has tattoos, piercings and gauges by age 13...especially in Ocean Beach, PB or Oceanside ;)

yeah, there are lots of people here with tattoos and piercings. it's not a big deal to most places out here

try looking for jobs in PB, OB, some downtown businesses, South Park, kensingtong, Normal heights, (most these places are for young ppl and that's where you'll find all the independent coffee shops, record stores, trendy restaurants, etc....) that's of course if you're looking for that type of job!
