yes, we did. Conspiracy theorists say it never happened, and for a long time there was a theory that NASA used Stanley Kubrick to fake a moon landing on the set of his film 2001. but it's nonsense; we did go to the moon. The only reason NASA hasn't sent a mission there is because they focussed their efforts on the space shuttle, the space station and Mars missions. There is a bigger chance of a manned missionn to Mars than there is of a return to the Moon

If you want the proof then go and do some research. Look at the thousands of photographs, the hours upon hours of film and video, the documentary evidence detailing the development and construction of the hardware, the books written by the people involved. You can even go to museums and see the hardware itself. Go and read about the budget cuts NASA suffered even before the first men walked on the Moon. Go and find out how federal budgets are distributed. The US government absolutely has enough money to have a continuing manned presence on the Moon, but unless they give that money to NASA and other organisations who can actually set that up it ain't gonna happen.

Seriosuly, your use of the phrase 'made up the moonwalk' seriously implies you don't even know how many lunar missions there actually were, in which case I can't see you have any basis for your conclusion. I suggest you visit the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal, then go to www.apollohoax.proboards21.com and www.bautforum.com, where you will find many people willing and able to discuss the whole issue with you in more depth than we can get into here.

Yes. We landed on the moon. The reasons we don't go back and forth are:
1. It costs a lot of money. ($25 billion = $100 billion in today's dollars.)
2. There's nothing there. The trip is pointless.
3. It's extremely risky to human life. Robotic probes can explore much more inexpensively, and no lives are lost if they crash. (which they often do.)

There are numerous proofs of the moon landing. I'll give just one:
There are 600+ pounds of moon rocks in the hands of scientists worldwide. Every scientist that has seen them agrees that they are from the Moon, not the earth!

Stephanie, unless you have looked into all aspects of the Apollo missions, it is very ignorant to have an opinion. It is not an act of faith, like a religion. There are masses of evidence.

I always tell people that though the landings (6 of them over 3 years) could have been filmed in the desert, there is absolutely no way the simulations could have got into the systems without hundreds of highly intelligent, able mission controllers knowing.

Then the simulations would have to work perfectly every second of the 6 missions over 3 years.

I was watching a transmission from the Louis Vuitton cup yatch racing this morning on Sky news, and there were big hiccups in the transmission at times. And this is 2007. Can you imagine trying to get that perfect in 1970, so that the controllers (50 of them per 8 hour shift, over 3 years) never noticed they were being duped.

Just think for yourself, and don't listen to conspiracy hype without going to check the facts for yourself.

How old are you? I watched the first moon landing in '69 and the others as well. There are thousands of photos, photos that could only have been taken from the moon. and in '69 they did not have photoshop so don't fall for that line. Going to the moon was part of the space race with Russia but we gained an amazing amount of information about the moon and even the origins of the Earth. Go to www. nasa.gov and don't believe the doubters. They still think the earth is flat.

We now use space shuttles and thoughs can't land on the moon. I know for 100% fact that we did land on the moon.
