Claire ---and what's a good middle name, I can't think of one that flows well with it

Lark---any middle names come to mind?

What do you think of these 2 names: what sort of little girl do you picture, and do you like them? I'm lost as to middle names.

Wow, everyone hates Lark. I'm not considering it for my baby. Just wanted opinions. I like Lark and considered it as a middle name for Eden. Eden Lark, I rather like it.

I love the name Claire, but the name Lark is just not cute or pretty.

Claire Grace
Claire Emily
Claire Michelle
Claire Amanda

You're right it's hard to find names that flow well. I've always like Claire for a middle name myself, but it will also make a beautiful first name.

Sarah Claire
Emma Claire
Emily Claire

I love Claire as a first name. Simple yet beautiful. I like Lark as a middle name (though not with Claire), but not as a first. I think a girl named Claire would be pretty, smart, kind, and well-behaved. Here are a few middle name suggestions:

Claire Adele
Claire Brielle
Claire Marie
Claire Ruby
Claire Sophia

I don't know why everybody is so against Lark...it is a girl's name meaning "songbird"...there is an actress named Lark Voorhies.

Picking a middle name or initial is just as important as finding a first name, and in general, the same naming guidelines can be used. You can be a little more creative though when finding baby names to use as a middle name, and choose a middle name that is unique, especially if you are using a traditional first name.

Your first decision is whether to use a middle name at all. They are becoming more and more popular and most people have at least one middle name.

Using a middle name can also make it easier to accommodate family traditions, since you can pick your own first name, and then use a grandparent's name as the middle name. It also allows couples to both be babynamers and choose one name each, since one can choose the first and the other can choose the middle name.

When picking a middle name, be sure that it sounds good and has some balance and rhythm with the first and last names that you choose. And make sure that it the initials do not create an acronym or spell a word (like Faith Alice Taylor = FAT) .

I would maybe change the Claire to Clara, then use Lark as a middle name.

Clara Lark would be the girl who's good most of the time, loving, with just a little touch of mischief to keep people guessing.

I like Claire, but Lark doesnt really seem like a girls name to me. A middle name for Claire could be Marie or maybe Rose, they aren't the best but like you I find my self a little lost with ideas for middle names aswell.
