Your having a miscarriage right now. I am so sorry for you. I just went through the same thing. I started spotting on April 8th. The next day I started bleeding more like I would for a normal period.
Four days before I started spotting I had gone to the doctor and had a blood test done and I was 3-4 weeks pregnant. So I was 4-5 weeks pregnant when I started spotting.
I had mild cramps like I might with a normal period.

I waited until I stopped bleeding and then went back to the doctor to get another blood test to confirm that I had lost the baby. They can do a urine test also to see if the baby is lost.

I am really sorry for you. You are losing the baby. Once you stop bleeding, then you have officially lost the baby.
While your bleeding, your in the process of miscarrying.
Doctor's say that a women miscarries because something hasn't developed right with the baby and the body is getting rid of it because of the abnormality.
I know it's really sad, but in a way, it's for the best.
If you need to ask me any questions, feel free to email me.
Me and my husband are Trying again.
Since I lost the baby so early on in the pregnancy, the doctor said it was OK to start trying right away.

If you are cramping really bad, worse than you normally would with a normal pregnancy then you may have had a miscarriage but you still need to go to the doctor just to make sure because some women continue their periods during all or most of their periods.

I had a miscarriage, after which a little one now not lengthy after, then an additional miscarriage. Considering I used to be informed I'd in no way get pregnant, I regarded that one a blessing. Two years later I pass pregnant once more, and we had fun and proposal we would in no way get pregnant once more. Then #three used to be born 18 months after #two...WOW! Then #four used to be 15 months after #three, then 18 months later #five....we began considering it used to be a few variety of cosmic shaggy dog story! #6 used to be born 2 years after #five, and quantity seven (we name her seven of 7) used to be born 2 years after #6. My SIL additionally confronted a number of miscarriages, 4 or 5 I believe, she stopped telling us after a even as. She acquired pregnant approximately ten years in the past regardless that, after which popped out FIVE in ten years. So we are each fairly cheerful with our little benefits. I'm sorry in your loss, I have no idea what else to inform you besides to hold your hopes up. I in no way proposal I'd be so blessed, and I don't forget the ones days of dread, each month of praying. We had been complete nuts for the duration of our pregnancies, specifically in view that all of our miscarriages had been after 12 weeks...some distance into the trimester of 'safeguard'.

Well a period is the dispoal of the unused egg and uterus lining, so it's not a period that you are having.( Women who say they had a period while pregnant were mislabeling the bleeding) It could be a miscarriage, or the bleeding could be from something else. You need to call your OB's office right away for assisitance. I bled on and off and it mimicked a period, and I had a healthy baby girl, so it may not be anything that is harmful to the baby.

Well if you are having a period, you had a miscarriage. If you are having vaginal bleeding, you might be okay. If the blood is brown, it is old blood. That is a good sign that it is not your period and just some bleeding. Call your doctor and ask them what they want you to do.
