The Doors- movie about the Doors
Stoned- movie about Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones
Forest Gump- has the best soundtrack, its a chronicle of the 50's to the 80's.
Factory Girl- about Eddie Segway and Andy Warhole's factory, has a character that is suppose to be Bob Dylan

...if you relished the film 'Dazed & Confused', you might get a kick out of the second-rate knock-off, entitled "The Stoned Age" (see attached webpage to www.imdb.com).
Released in 1994, 'The Stoned Age' takes a similar (albeit, a bit more comical) look at the groovy '70's, as was depicted in 'Dazed & Confused'.
