May be due to the heat, In the USA they prefer inflatable water slides, shame we do not have the hot weather enough for that in the UK. Other wise BJ's Bouncy Castles Bromley and Croydon would hire these as they are such fun! We do a bigger range of bouncy castles and inflatables than most country.

I would necessarily say that the are more popular in the UK. In fact, there is a business near my office that makes bouncy castles and another that rents theirs our for a good party.

Because we were started on the "moon walk" instead of bouncy castles. Castles didn't come around until much later - and besides, we don't have as many castles in the US to start with.
