I told this man I have known a while that I want to have sex with him, and he just flat out said no and didn't give me a reason or anything. Wouldn't a straight man at least give you a reason why not, like he's involved with someone or just not interested? His response was sort of cold and abrupt for knowing him a while. What do you think??

I am a straight man and I have used to use that as a tactic with women when I was a college boy. Women go even crazier for men after they turn them down. Yes, some men are capable of thinking ahead into the future...

He could be gay, he could be straight. He might even think you have sex way too much for him. Or he might be a virgin and doesn't want casual sex. For all you know he could be a recovering sex addict.

There are a lot of possible reason why he didn't want to have sex with you. If you like him you should probably tell him you might get a better response.

All i can say is that if you want to know why he turned you down you should ask him. However jump to the conclusion that he is gay because he doesn't want to have sex with you, gives me a little more incite into why he would turn you down.

If you think that then you need to sort things out a bit. Some guys aren't all for it you know and they do actually have feelings. May be the guy just didn't want to have sex with you. I bet he was a really nice guy and didnd't want to hurt your feelings by not telling you why. Or may be he couldn't trust you enough with another reason.
I don't think the guy would've stuck with you if he was gay even though it is a possibility.

No, of course not. He obviously didn't like you, hello! If you turn a man down after he offers you sex, does that make you gay?

No it dosn't mean he is gay. He dosn't have to give a reason,he dosen't have to explain, his responce may be done that way to let you know not to bring it up again.Belive it or not alot of men are not just interested in sex.

Does he still want you around?

Your friend can be straight, gay or bi. He could be involved or getting over someone.

There could be many "if or if not" to this question,

Just be yourself and see what happens. And while you are waiting, move on.

No, it does not make him gay if he turns you down.
Clearly you have offended him in some way.
His response might be that of a devout faith.

His rejection of you does not make him gay.
It makes you a pig, regardless of how "romantic" you might try to make it appear.

You just picked on a guy with some moral values.

he might but it is most likely you are not his type of girl
not every man will jump into the first set of breast that comes along
he might also respect your friendship to not want to confuse it
or maybe you ugly and he is just nice
or all of the above
