Yes it's important to me because it gives me a reason to bring up environmental tips with my family, friends and co-workers...
The rest of the year I do it very subtle so they aren't overwhelmed by my input.

Earth Day is also my wedding anniversary...all of our guests (300+) will always remember the two together and remember what a "nut" I am about this wonderful planet...hopefully they'll learn from my examples.
It sparks many conversations that's for sure!

Yes it's an important day for me...simply to start a dialogue with people.
Every day is treated as Earth Day in my life.

Happy Earth Day!!

Don't buy into the socialist propoganda - it's a lie. Ask yourself this, when the Ice Age ended, how did the icebergs melt? The whole Earth got WARMER. That was global warming. Were humans responsible for that? Nay, they say that was before mankind. How is that explained? Then there was the "global cooling" scare of the 1970's. It gets warmer, it gets cooler. Back and forth, up and down. It's the natural ebb and flow of the earth's cycle, just as the seasons we experience. It gets colder, it gets warmer. But some "scientists" push doomsday figures in front of us and we panic, ignoring all common sense? The Earth is MUCH bigger than any man, and it has it's own defense systems. "Global warming" is the trojan horse for socialism, which will ultimately lead to communism. Relax, and don't buy the lies.

Yes, it is very important to me. I want to help the earth which God created and better preserve it. If we all helped the earth, we wouldn't have all of these global warming problems and such.

To be honest, I didn't find it that significant until I watched the film "An Inconvenient Truth" for the second time.

As a family, we watched the said film in a cinema which provided free admission to see the film.

I really appreciated the movie and I believe everybody should know about this.

Watch the movie and tell your friends about it!

You know, I'm trying to think of anything I care less about than Earth Day, and I can't come up with anything.
