Not at all. South Africa have qualified for the 4th spot in semi finals as they have 8 points compared to 6 Points England have. Australia, Sri Lanka and New Zeland are the other semi finalists.

this is not so basic as that. If Australia beats or ties with Pakistan that would see India return domicile. India ought to overcome the Windies handsomely and Pakistan has to flog Australia for India to bypass added. Pakistan has already qualified.

Unfortunately not. They played poorly before this, and that did their undoing.
However, with this win, England finish fifth and West Indies 6th. (Of course, Bangladesh finished 7th and Ireland 8th).

no. the semi finalist are New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Australia and South Africa. england did not make it they needed to win more matches.
