I'm about to head to bed it's 3:30 pm in Toronto I saw this question and I felt the need to answer it.Special friends can make mistakes. In the past couple of days someone who I CONSIDERED TO BE A CLOSE FRIEND and still do started to ignore me..Of course I HAVE TRIED TO SAY SORRY. in my case the past week has been difficult with so many demands put on me. i have MS AND WHILE for the most part I am fine, EVEN SOMEONE AS GIFTED A writer and speaker as I am can make mistakes. I am probably doing so right now AS I HAVE DIFFICULTY TYPING BECAUSE MY LEFT HAND IS SHAKING DUE TO RECENT COMPICATIONS WITH MS. IF you really meant it and I BELIVED YOU WERE INDEED 'genuine and sincere I
might have to reflect on it and yes i probably would. I believe all friends can make mistakes .I HAVE TRIED TO FIND THE ANSWER OF HOW TO DO SO IN A QUESTION I ASKED YESTERDAY BECAUSE I WAS HURT BECAUSE SOMEONE WHO 'CUT MY HAIR' and that someone STARTED TO 'IGNORE' me . Yes it hurt but forgive give them I certainly WOULD. I KNOW WHO IS A TRUE FRIEND AND WHO IS NOT. TO ME TRUE FRIENDSHIP includes loyalty and trust. Yes true friends can make mistakes. I WISH i could answer this question better but I AM TRULY EXHAUSTED.I KNOW IT MIGHT TAKE A DAY OR 2 TO CONTEMPLATE but i would. Chola you have always been a real friend to me and I believe you believe I HAVE TRIED TO BE WITH YOU because I FEEL YOUR PAIN.In your case which I BELIEVE SHOULD NOT BE INCLUDED FOR PRIVACY ISSUES IN THIS QUESTION I TRIED TO BE WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.I was saddened in the last couple of days as well because I MAY NEVER KNOW HOW TO GET MY SINCERE APOLOGY across to that individual. Chola I BELIEVE YOU KNOW ME. YOU HAVE WRITTEN ME TO SAY GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE and I TRULY BELIEVE THIS IS THE CASE . I am struggling right now to complete this answer. I AM A 'gifted' individual who is very intuative. I HAVE SPENT MANY YEARS DEALING WITH SUCH QUESTIONS I counsel ppl in how to deal with such situations. AS a result of my fatigue I must summarize this answer in one sentence ...to me 'a friend in need..is a friend indeed'..I only hope that someone I CARE ABOUT SEES THIS ANSWER AND UNDERSTANDS.AND TO THE TWO OTHERS THAT I HAVE TRIED TO i.m. with but couldn't , I WISH TO THANK THEM FOR POSTING ON MY PAGE, it actually brought a tear to my eye and I AM NOT ONE TO CRY EASILY . .i believe if the other indivdual responds to me I WOULD PROBABLY HAVE TEARS OF JOY ..LITERALLY..AND WOULD TREAT that person AS i do others.and offer that person everyting a true friend should. ONCE AGAIN EXCUSE THE CAPS IN THIS ANSWER. i can hardly hold my head up and need some rest to be fine.
IF I WAS MISINTERPRETED OR i really came across nasty I HOPE THAT INDIVIDUAL WILL UNDERSTAND i'm sorry. AND OF COURSE YOU CHOLA I KNOW YOU and I WOULD TRUST YOU WHOLEHEARTEADLY AND I would forgive you!

Forgiving is OK for small things, things of no consequence. But a heart, bank account, and friendship is something else.
Someone willing to put our Love, friendship on the line for what? I don't think forgivness is possible. Understanding? maybe, forgivness, no.
A breach of trust cannot be easily forgiven.

Yes I would forgive you , I'm a happy go lucky guy without a care in the world so it would be no problem at all . If you were a good make up artist that would be a plus also : )

Of course!! IF you really meant it and hadn't done the same offensive thing over and over previously and said "I'm sorry " over and over again. But I'd probably still forgive you but just stay clear of you in that case.

If there is one word which I don't like in English is "Sorry". Forgiving you, do you know how much pain you caused me, how can you simply say I am sorry. It is easy for you to say sorry, but forgiving you is the last thing I will do.
You broke my heart, how can you cheat me, I loved you more than anything on this earth. It was so easy to break my heart, but the pain it caused was so much that I have not been myself for last 20 hours. I curse your beauty which stole my heart and I curse you for breaking my heart. I will not forgive you until my last breath.

sure , but its hard to tell if someone realy means there sorry or are they just trying to get by for awhile , either way its always cool to forgive but that doesnt always mean the person we're saying sorry to is going to forget, just try to learn from mistakes so your not having to say Im sorry all the time

Of course I would. I am a very forgiving person. My husband says that its my one weakness. Oh well. If you stay mad at someone, it only hurts yourself and not the other person, so whats the point of holding a grudge?
