I would say microderma. I've tried them both and the chemical peel was a bit discomfortable for me.
I've had 10 microderma sessions (schedules about 2 weeks apart) and these are my results: diminished acne scars and lines around the mouth, pores look a lot smaller, mild discolorations on the chin and forehead gone.
I've paid around $900 for the entire treatment and now I use at-home microderma kits for maintenance.
