yeah, I always feel like I cant breathe when I go thru the car wash...but I turn on the air conditioner & blast the music so I dont think about not being able to breathe...its really scary for me cause I have problems breathing anyway.

Yah, its the feeling claustrophobics get. When the thing was serious, I get worse and its called panic attacks which can be mistaken as heart attack. Please tell people around you of this fear so they know when to talk you around. If you are alone take deep and slow breath. If your friend knows of your condition, everytime it happens, tell them and even if they hold your hands and tell you its ok. Just breath slowly and some form or assurances would help. Once you know of the cause, it is easier to recover. You know I cant go to the movies alone.

yes, I think it's the water that freaks me out. I hate to have water in my face, even in the shower. When I go swimming I always hold my breath for as long as I can even when I'm not underwater and always end up clinging to the side of the pool gasping. Maybe I drowned in a past life or something. But I love to go swimming....it's odd, I guess.

no i think i can but if you are talking about feeling like you are under water or trying to hold yoru breath like driving through a tunnel ohh yeah that is quite a challenge
