Yes, the plates do move in spite of the rapid increase in human population, fat or thin. After all, we are also part of the tectonic plates, grown fat by eating the material of the same plates. We are not extra-terrestrial. And compared to the total weight of the plate, the weight of humans is negligible.

No this is not possible at all. In fact skyrise buildings has a much higher chance of causing the tectonic plates to move, and yet none of this has happen yet so what is the chance that fat people can move the earth tectonic plate???

no...no matter how many "big people" populate the Earth it will not cause the plates to move. think about it the Earth is already able to withstand the weight of the oceans and continents why not humans..we as humans don't weigh that much..your just trying to be mean i think..

I'll bet making fun of fat people makes you feel good. This indicates a severe lack of self esteme on your part. You need therapy, desprately.
