I have been having issues with my acceleration on my automobile, where it doesn't seem to want to down shift to accelerate, thus taking a long time to reach the speed I want. Now, my car won't even start. It sounds like it wants to, but something isn't catchin - is it a fuel line/injector problem? An air-intake problem? If it is either of these, does anyone know a general price range for fixing the problem? Thank you for any information!

Also worth noting is that when in park, the RPMs jump to about 1500.

The doctor cannot prescribe medication without know what kinda disease the car has.First of all, diagnosis must be done to find out what the problem is, based upon that an estimated cost or quote can be determined.Sorry, mate we are talking about machine, its not so easy to tell without proper diagnosis.Good luck
