nope, the republicans continuing to support governmnet corruption for not doing things like calling for the resignation of Gonzales is what makes a mockery of the "party of responsibility and morales".
Bush is just one more, that helps the transition from the "party of responisbility" to the "party of clowns".

Not at all. While I am a Democrat, I have to say that I while I disagree with him, I respect the fact that he stands by his word. I have never hear of a president saying the buck stops here or that I was wrong other than Bush. Most (Clinton included) waffle and dodge.

NO! It's his spineless fellow republicans who are jumping ship just because they are afraid of losing the next election that are embarrassing . Being a public servant is about doing what's right , not about doing what's popular to insure that you win the next election.
