Hi people, does anyone know the status of the Silvertown Aquarium out in East London? is it going ahead/scraped?? I had a browse on their website http://www.silvertownquays-london.com/aquarium.htm and sent off a few emails but no reply... site says it will open in 2008 but i pretty much doubt it...

Sounds like it is still planned. It is being run by London Zoo

I live in East London, not too far from Silvertown and I haven't even heard of this. Sorry that's no help but it's often the case that, after any initial fanfare, little is said about something until just before it's due to open.
