Do you keep things from most people?

I have no problem being myself. But I'm very guarded. It now takes a lot,for me to completely feel comfortable sharing things about myself. I've been burned REALLY bad,and I won't allow that to happen again.It's my biggest issue.

I am a very private person.
I keep things from most people.
I accept only a few friends, both in the "real" world and the "virtual" world.
I am a loyal friend and a bitter enemy.

I have a wall that keeps other from knowing me. I keep things from alot of people, and I try to keep things from myself(doesn't work).

The only person who will ever really know 'me' is me. They have their view of me which is coloured by their own minds. And I cannot project every thought and feeling.. so its only a crude version of the real me that they get. I can't help but only project a partial version of myself.
I am way too open a person at times, but I'm sure nobody really 'knows' me, despite that sharing of information.

no one actually knows me.maybe surface stuff but the really deep sh*t I keep to myself.I let someone in once and the minute we were fighting everything I told him was thrown in my face. I will never trust another person that way ever again.

i let people know me for the most part but people who are not close to me do not know a lot about me and i like it that way. it is not because i have something to hide but because i do not trust a lot of people. good luck.

On the contrary. I tend to keep people at a distance, often pushing them out of my life once they know something about me.

I keep most people at a distance - you never know who could be a potential crazy fool that will haunt you later...

Nope, I'm all me.
What you see is what you get.
Sometimes to my own severe detriment because some people aren't so nice... But I make good, long lasting friendships that way and I don't know any other way to be.
