Leave them alone. They won't harm you. They are not aggresive like wasps which will attack at will.
The bee population is decline and a lot of nature conservation agencies are looking at ways to try and help them.

I would look on the internet or phone book to see if there are any honey bee farms in your area. It could be that they are honey bees and not bumble bees. If so, they may have built a hive in a hollowed out part of a tree trunk or even underground. Years ago my husband was digging in the backyard and unearthed a hive of bees. I don't know what kind they were but they were really mean. We had to get an exterminator to come out and kill them. Maybe an exterminator should be called to get his or her opinion. Good luck and don't mess with them yourself!

I had bumblebees living in a downspout of my 75 year-old house a few years ago They were so good-natured and polite they would hover at a standstill to let me pass them by on the sidewalk first, like a courteous driver at a crosswalk. I left them alone and no harm came to me or the house. If your "bees" are fast, aggressive, zippy fliers, they may actually be hornets, living in a rotted fencepost perhaps.

in our tradition if we have bee's in our backyard we are burning leaves;sticks and twigs under the hive of the bee's( caution be sure you start burnong the leaves find a good spot to hide because if the smoke rich the hive the bee's will panic and may attack you) take this good advice just try this than hiring pest control if it will not work then go on ang call the pest control

What you have are wood bees. They bore holes in wood and nest there. You have to find the holes and spray them at night when they are in them. They leave behind sawdust and that's how to find the holes. I have them every year they seemed harmless until I found a dozen holes. The holes are about a 1/2 inch in diameter. Wasp spray works well. I tried to hit them in mid air,but they are really quick.

You don't just steer clear of them they are probably interested in some flowers in your yard. They will go away in a day or two and they are needed to pollinate plants and trees.
