They have over a thousand plants listed. They also have over four hundred "recipes" for different planter/hanging basket combinations. I spent a whole lotta time there yesteday and got some really good ideas.

Almost any plant can be grown in a pot, if the pot is big enough.

Keep in mind that some pots do dry out fairly quickly, so you'll want to keep an eye on the water situation.

If you are just after color, I've always had good luck with ivy geraniums. In areas without a frost, they are evergreen; annual in areas with a hard frost. They are easy to grow and don't require tremendous amounts of care. Ivy geraniums tend to be less woody than their zonal geranium counterpart. They're also pretty inexpensive and can be propagated from cuttings. Oh, and they're available in a wide array of flower and leaf colors.
