Don't you think that a bit of Spit and Polish is due?

I'm suprised at questions about how Israel comes into this !
I know that there's a theory by Von Danniken that beings from Outer Space built the Pyramids !
But I always thought that the Israelis entered into the equation.
Has The Pyramid Builders' Union no comment on this world-record strike?

Hi,Lostie ! Like your style.
There was a book by Von Danniken called Chariots of the Gods who claimed that space men were the only ones who had the tech. to build within
one hundredth of an inch,
I think he even suggests that the feat would be difficult.
Supposing the builders wanted them back?

I first got this idea from a 2 Ronnies sketch:
"The world's longest strike is over!
The Israeli ambassador announced that work on The Pyramids would resume next week!"

there is a lot of contraversy about who built the pyramids. It seems that while we have technology to carbon date and search for our historical past many countries are trying to claim they built the Pyramids. There is talk that the Pyramids were around before the first Egyptian people came to Egypt and that the Egyptians claimed them and the technology of the time as theres

I suggest you look at a map of the world which shows where the pyramids are located and where Israel is. Your question shows a bit of ignorance in this area.

The Egyptian Department of Antiquities is responsible for the maintenance of the archeological sites, including the pyramids. They probably haven't allocated enough money to do the job.

The pyramids are in Egypt. Always have been. Nothing to do with Israel or any other country. Maintenance is the responsibility of the Egyptian government, nobody else. And no, I think they're fine as they are - why does everything have to gleam like Hollywood ?

You can blame the Israelis for many things, but neglecting the Pyramids is not one of them.
Spelling polish with a capital 'P' is confusing. Do you think that Polish builders would be better employed in Giza than in the UK?

The Hebrews were the slaves of the Egyptians and It was the selfish ego of an Egyptian ruler who lead to the Pyramids to be built so, I have to say in a nut shell that the responsibility of maintenance belongs to the Egyptians.

Well let's examine this rather difficult issue, shall we?
Ok, they were made IN Egypt BY Egyptians and have remained on Egyptian soil for the last 5000 years. How you bring Israel into this defies logic.
