the proble says, a battery is set up with copper and lead electrodes in contact with CuSO4 and Pb(NO3)2 respectively. if Pb2+ and Cu2+ concentrations are 1 M, what is the overall cell potential ??? i found the E' = .42V. is that enough??

These are standard conditions, so the measured voltage will merely be the difference between the electrode potentials of each half-cell. Why were you expecting a larger difference?

yes, depending on the table you may find a differnt answer. I got 0.34-(-0.13)=0.47, but your reasoning is fine
