Summation of forces = 0 = W1+W2 -S1 +S2
Summation of moments about the pivot point = 0 R1W1+R2W2 - R3S1- R4 S2=0
R3S1 (since it is a pivot point)
R1= 2.0 m
R2= 0.5m =(1.5 - 1.0)
R4= 1.0m
R1W1+R2W2 -R4 S2=0
S2=(R1W1+R2W2 -)/r4
S2=(2 x 550 + 0.5 x 280)/1.0=1240N (the force at the end that is held down)

and since

0 = W1+W2 -S1 +S2
S1= W1+W2 +S2 = 550 + 280 + 1240 = 2070 N (force at the support point)
