yes, i guess...but i can see the presure and everything.
oh, and those of you who say i dont care what other think...if you did that, then you would just wear your pjs and dressing gown everywhere. why not?
so many 1st impressions are based on clothing and appearance...job interviews, blind dates, etc

It really depends on the individual. Some days I couldn't care less about how I look, and others I feel like looking nice to make myself feel good. It can be a confidence booster, but if your reason for wanting to look good with Hilfiger, or CK, or whatever just because of the LABEL...well that is pitiful. I am not a walking billboard and I look down on others who want to be that way.

i dont find it odd.
i just like to dress up sometimes. and othertimes i couldnt care less...depends on the mood. but i do find it odd when people are all "OMG i need a perfect outfit blah blah. like omg icant belive i cant find that skirt" and stuff like that. that makes me...roll my eyes.
AND when people wear clothes because they are in fashion or some celebrity is doing it-- thats odd. i wear clothes depending on what i like....not what other people like.

I don't find it Odd unless people are choosing what to wear based on what they think someone else might like to see...I've always just worn what I liked even when people make fun of me. I have very...eclectic taste when it comes to what I wear ;)

Agreed. We pay way too much attention to what we look like, and unfortunately we unfairly judge others by what they wear. We are not perfect, but we try so hard to appear to be just that.

Yes, I think it is dumb to worry about what people think about what we wear. At least we wear clothes because some people don't need to be seen without them

No, Because to feel good about ourselves on the inside we need to know that we are happy with our appearance on the outside..
